Refund Policy

How we handle donation errors, recurring gifts, class fees and event registrations.

Donations

Donations to Cactus Nazarene Ministry Center are voluntary gifts and are generally non-refundable, because gifts are put to work in the community quickly. We know mistakes happen, so:

  • If you gave the wrong amount, gave twice by accident, or did not authorise a gift, contact us within 30 days and we will refund it.
  • Refunds are returned to the original payment method. Processing times depend on PayPal and your bank.
  • If you have already claimed a tax deduction for a gift that is later refunded, you are responsible for correcting your tax records.

Recurring gifts

You can cancel a recurring donation at any time, either in your PayPal account or by contacting us. Cancellation stops future payments; it does not automatically refund gifts already made, though the 30 day rule above still applies to the most recent payment.

The Panhandle Gives

Gifts made through The Panhandle Gives are processed by the Amarillo Area Foundation, not by CNMC. Refund requests for those gifts must go to the Foundation under their policy. We are happy to help you make contact.

Class fees

EAL class fees cover a place on an 8-week course plus materials.

  • Withdraw before the course starts and the fee is refunded in full, less the cost of any books already issued.
  • Once a course has started, fees are not usually refunded, but we will transfer your place to the next intake where circumstances make that reasonable.
  • If CNMC cancels a course, every affected student is refunded in full or moved to the next intake, whichever they prefer.

Event registrations

Where an event carries a registration fee, the refund terms for that event are published with it. If CNMC cancels an event, registration fees are refunded in full.

How to request a refund

Email info@cactusministries.org or call 806 421 0160 with the date, amount and payment method. We aim to respond within five business days.
