WHY YOU GIVE

Today, CNMC has a culturally diverse staff of 10, and others who volunteer, from as far away as South Africa and the Dominican Republic to as close as right here in Cactus. The staff through ministry are dedicated to the holistic work of Equipping, Educating, Empowering and Evangelizing all the people of Cactus, Texas.

All of this is why you give. Your one-time gifts and long-term financial partnerships is how we can holistically minister to Cactus’ most vulnerable and marginalized people. Your faithful prayers, and your financial support are invaluable to the work of God in Cactus. Without you, CNMC doesn’t exist.

If you are not already a financial partner, would you please consider giving monthly gift of $10, $20, $50 or more, or praying about a one-time gift? If you already support CNMC; we humbly thank you for your faithful blessing to the Lord and the Church and CNMC.

Our Vision

We are here to meet people where they are—providing spiritual guidance, practical support, and a community of love. Our mission is to empower lives through ministry, offering a foundation of faith and a helping hand for those in need.

You Give because Cactus Nazarene Ministry Center was born out of need. On April 21st , 2007, a tornado ripped through this small community. This disaster alerted the Nazarene Churches in Amarillo about the town and the need to help after the storm. Following meeting the immediate needs after the disaster the West Texas District Church of the Nazarene recognized the deeper long term needs of this community of refugees, immigrants and asylees. God gave a vision to David and Susan Downs of a holistic ministry to the community and in 2013 Cactus Nazarene Ministry Center was born. Over the years this compassionate ministry has seen some ups and downs, but God has been faithful to the vision given and poured out grace on grace to CNMC.
